Standing in the shower,
my tears and water collide
as I reminince the past
and the emotions that construct inside.

I long to subside the feeling
so I press the blade against my skin.
Bloody kisses taint my porcelain flesh
and the scars show where I've been.

My fists of rage color the walls
as crimson trails flow towards the drain.
Red hand prints paint the enclosure
that forms from my razor blade chain.

The pain has decreased for a moment
as I focus on my burning flesh.
Giving in to society ignorance
where the pain and depression mesh.

After I've dried my eyes
and the blood has been washed away,
I wrap myself in long sleeves, smiling...
